My buyers found a wonderful home Sunday. The home came on the market Friday and by Monday afternoon; there were 4 offers. We were somewhere in the mix; the agent wouldn't say; until she spoke with her sellers.

So where are the sellers?

On a Cruise Ship !

OK; this is not a problem. As a frequent cruise-vacationeer I can tell you I have ratified 3 contracts from a cruise ship and I think 4 others while out of the country. It can be done. Yes; it can be a bit of a hassle and YES; it costs a few bucks; internet in the middle of an ocean isn't cheap.

So that being said; the Listing agent is unable to reach the sellers for two days. It seems the internet cafe is "spotty" and they can only connect with their blackberry's while in port.

SO days tick by... We find out our offer is not accepted; so we decide to move to their second choice - which is now already under contract! CRAP.

Meanwhile... the Listing Agent on the 1st property tells me that the 1st offer never got back to her - they got tired of waiting and they were working with #2. (We are #3).

SO perhpas #2 will have also moved on and we could be in position to get it; unless we fiond something else Saturday! Maybe the sellers will lose all 4 buyers because they don't want to spend a buck at the Cruise Ships Internet Cafe !
