Hoarding. Something I heard about years ago on Oprah. I never rally saw it; until I got into the Real Estate business. Now I see it all the time. Yes; even homes on the market - have so much clutter you can barely move.

I sold a house this summer; where there was exactly 1 seat in the living room and 1 small spot in the bedroom where someone could sit or lay down. This was a 3 bedroom town-home with a full basement. It was CRAZY. You should have seen the poor home inspector trying to inspect. It wasn't easy.

So this morning; I saw this on the news:

Sidewalks filled with woman things

Well since it was only a few blocks out of my way to the office this morning; I just had drive by and see; was this just a bunch of stuff or was it hording as another news ageny reported.

Well I tell you what. The stuff went on for blocks; on both sides of the street. YES; this wasn't just 1 woman's personal belongings. This was the stuff of someone who collected... EVERYTHING.

The city is now sending "several" trucks to load the stuff up and carry it away. I am sure THAT will be a media circus too.
