With the market heating up; I had a hard time getting my 1st pick Home Inspector.  In fact I have had to use 3 different inspectors from 3 different companies; just to get the jobs done.  All of them report being BUSY !

Real Estate and the related fields are a funny business.  We can go from bored to busy in a very short time.  I know my one inspector worked 7 days a week for 2 weeks after our huge snow storms.  But it's not just storms that can change our "busyness".  

Many folks have gotten "out of the business - and related fields"; so there are less real estate folks to help those in need.  Of course one thing about Real Estate related business; as soon as the market improves - the number of folks in the business increases.

So I am sure these busy Home Inspectors will be greeted by a whole slew of newbies - just as we Real Estate agents will be working with more newbie agents.
